Every time I play DayZ I feel compelled to come and mention the smaller inventory space. I've adapted to the change and I've concluded it hasn’t improved the experience, it’s made it noticeably worse.
Loot used to be scarcer because, across the map, players would take most of the valuable items. That made loot more meaningful and pushed players to be more thorough when searching locations. Now, towns feel overly generous, and that reduces the incentive to loot carefully. Player kills used to be the most rewarding way to gear up, but now looting them feels like a burden.
If you build anything sizable where camo netting would benefit the walls, getting enough just isn't plausible anymore, and it was already a huge task before. Either bags and vests need to be reverted or the inventory size of every clothing item needs to be heavily adjusted and balanced. It's time for a change.
