I figured this must've been reported before, but I couldn't find any tickets mentioning this issue.
As I'm sure many have noticed, the game doesn't detect the FOV properly, causing low quality resolution LODs to pop up even if you're directly looking at an object, while seeing the high quality resolution LODs if the object is at the corner of the screen.
Examples (this issue occurs on all terrains):

It is recommended that you compare these images side by side to see the issue better.
