hmm, for some reason AmrA3 just works now, i havent done anything with the game or steam since i posted this, perhaps it may have been something to do with my system and it sorted itself through it being shutdown and started again. thanks for the reply anyway, this is a bizarre thing :)

ive just uninstalled and reinstalled the whole game and the same error occurs
