This happens to me as well and it's reproducible. Just go for a run and do nothing else but sprint for about 5 minutes. I get teleported back to where the run started and it is hung usually with me standing and the camera rotating slowly around. Sometimes I'll go back and be stuck running with camera looking down from overhead. Either way the game accepts no inputs and I have to kill the process.

I work around it by stopping every few minutes and interacting with something in my inventory.
