dgurpur added a comment to T89246: Cannot use melee attacks while crouched or prone.
This is still present in 0.45 and needs to be addressed. I can understand maybe reduced range of motion while prone, but while crouched it seems a bit strange I can sneak up on a player or zed and stab them.
Fixing this may also present an opportunity to implement stealth kills.
