Had exactly the same problem after the steam outage yesterday evening (Maybe related?). I was playing for 10 minutes on a server before it went down. Then i switched to a new server and received the message that my character has beed reset because it couldn't be loaded and that an system administrator has been notified. Pretty frustrating after about 12 hours of gametime on that character. Please fix it ASAP :|
