Ok, I fresh spawned so there's nothing on me. Tried to switch servers and crash to desktop.
Restart Dayz, I can join a server no problem and play on that server for a long time without issue. Exactly the same error from Windows above.

When I come back into game after crash some of my items are damaged or even ruined if they were previously damaged making the game kind of useless to play as you'll loose everything you own with random crashes.

Damn, I thought I was on to something there. My crash has stopped now that I've dumped most of my stuff. I was getting the exact same problem though, random crash to desktop and the same when I try to change servers.
I hope they sort the problem soon

Right got to the end of it today.

1. If you have a hard case in your kit you'll get the disconnect.
2. You'll also find most of your kit now shows as RUINED when you come back on the server, this happens more often if you've crashed regularly (like me)
3. The ruined status spreads slowly over the rest of your kit

I've dropped my hard cases and had to drop every bit of ruined kit, even my clothes, it's basically respawning but with a gun (ammo ruined)
Things I'm picking up now are staying at normal status so far and no crashes. Seems to be hard cases so far

This might help, I get the same random quit without warning. Just drops to the desktop and windows gives an error
