While this may not be a "high priority" issue compared to stabilizing the game and getting those frames per second under control. It's still an issue that affects lots of the community. Not just the ones who streamed when DayZ started out, but the Arma community as a whole. Streaming is becoming much more popular as well and these suggestions will really aid in making the game popular, which generates more revenue for BI, which allows them to spend more time optimizing.
To the point, it may not be the top priority at the moment, but it should be on the list.
Agreed. As a purveyor of multiple streams (not just Sacriel and "The Squad's"), nothing ruins a stream quite like a kid or some guy essentially screen watching and harassing the players. It ruins the tactics, squad execution, and the point of the game. Y'know, all the fun stuff.
These do seem like simple UI fixes that can be toggled, removed, or implemented before too terribly long. One reason I got into Arma was because of YouTube videos and when DayZ came along, I followed these streamers, downloaded the mod, and logged many more hours on a game I had stopped playing. Making it so much easier for these guys/gals to promote the game and spread it's popularity seems like a worthwhile venture.
