Just bought the game and downloaded it, doesn't matter which server I try to connect to I get the exact same error message each time. Tried all the fixes in the steam help section, nothing works. Scoured the reports on your help site, found no answers. Please help.

this happened to me as well for a couple of hours last night PST. my version is up to date with 0.46.124490. all servers were like that. Scheduled maintenance perhaps?

Steam should update the game automatically.
Can you confirm what version number you are running? It's displayed in the top right corner of the main menu screen.

Hi,
Wednesday is maintenance day for the servers so these sort of issues are to be expected.
If the problem persists past today please open a new issue and somebody will look into it :)
