Normally in real life tuna is in a cylindrical formed can and sardines are canned in a cuboid-shaped box. But DayZ created this the other way around.
Maybe this is on purpose because DayZ is not like real life. But it also seems like the devs mixed this up :)
Look at the canned tuna of DayZ (http://dayz-standalone.wikia.com/wiki/Canned_tuna) and then google for images of "canned tuna" and compare :)
Do the same with canned sardines (http://dayz-standalone.wikia.com/wiki/Canned_sardines) and google for "canned sardines"

Please vote up the original issue to increase visibility, add any extra information in the notes section, and monitor it for further developments.
I just saw that this was already mentioned previously by these reports: 0000373; 0004671 and 0007173
So don´t hesitate to close this issue. Although i would like to see the tuna and the sardines in the appropiate containers in the final build :)
