After approximately 15 minutes of playing DayZ I get a "no message received" on the game. It starts as a yellow desync symbol, and proceeds to red where it says the above. It happens on every server (stable and experimental) and has been happening for about 3-4 months. What really confuses me is that I have found the same issue with Arma 2 DayZ Mod! Once the Desync happens and I get the message, I cannot back out to server lists/main menu. If I try to close the application manually via the "x" or back out to the main menu then the application freezes, and I must end the process/application via task manager.

Connect to server on any exp or stable (any version for the past 3-4 months), play for 15 minutes, disconnect.
My PC specs are pretty solid, i7 quad CPU, 16GB RAM, SSD hdd, 15Mbps internet, Nvidia 560ti sc with 2GB of dedicated memory. So I don't think it's the computer unless it's an overheating issue. But I know there are other people who are having this issue, but I have yet to find a solid response.
Here are some things I have tried:
- Cleaned out computer and checked heat levels -- they are higher, but not any higher than when playing any other game.
- Updated Battle Eye
- Turned off anti aliasing and Vsync as well as turned down graphics properties of the games as a whole. (this helped with the heat, but I am still dc'ing)
- Opened ports
- Updated GPU Drivers
- Uninstall -- reinstall
- Closed all other applications that were un-needed. and ended any misc processes/services not needed.

Hello BinaryBandit,
Sorry to hear about your trouble. Would it be possible for you to attach a screenshot that shows your bandwidth/ping/desync once you experience your issue? You can see your bandwidth/ping/desync by pressing "P" (default key) and subsequently highlighting your name.
Thanks in advance,
JStewart
Thanks for sending in your information. For the crashing/inability to close down the game properly, I would recommend that you try to remove the launch options that you have defined in Steam and see if that helps.
According to the screenshot that you sent in, you don't seem to experience desync, so you might have interference issues with your connection. Would it be possible for you to attach a "tracert" report by performing a traceroute command while using the following ip address please: 69.162.83.204
In case you need information regarding how to perform the traceroute command, you can use the following url: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/162326

OK, I have added the Txt file with the output from Tracert. The parameters were added as a way to potentially fix the issue, as it was happening even with no parameters. I will remove them and see if it does anything, but again, it was crashing before they were added.
Thanks for sending in your files. I'll ask the devs to have a look at what might cause your crashes and what could cause your connection issues.
Regards,
JStewart
Hey
Are you still experiencing the crashing after the latest update? If so, could you please attach new crash dumps for us?
Thank You!
