well, the idea came to me when I was running in front of the sun, big lensflare on my screen, of course. But I remembered that I was wearing sunglasses.
So , the idea is to make the sunglasses usefull instead of just a cosmetic interest. Can you disable the lens flare effect in FPS view when the player has sunglasses? It can be a serious advantage in hunting or combat situation.
