dayz interface problems
Feedback, WishlistPublic

Description

I have been playing the 45 patch and my game has been repeatable crashing, though it was not much of a problem until all my interface settings were changed and messed up. i tried multiple times to restart my computer and then i deleted dayz and re installed it though i am still have interface problems. The game wont adjust to my screen accurately and it looks stretched with tiny font. i tried messing around with the interface setting but the problem still exists.

Hi,

At the main menu, click Configure -> Video -> User Interface and use the Resolution drop down list to select your resolution.

Make sure the Aspect Ratio option matches the aspect ratio of your resolution.

Close the config settings completely and return to the main menu.

Then open Config again, click Video and then select your resolution from the Rendering Resolution drop down list.

This should return your game back to normal resolution.

There are people reporting, on the DayZ subreddit, and in the steam community chat, that the resolution list is only showing 640x480.

A workaround seems to be to switch the game to windowed mode by pressing Alt+Enter, all resolution options then show up in the drop down.

Alternately, setting the resolution manually in DayZ.cfg works too.
