I just climbed the top of the building, stepped few steps and just died. It was certainly not a kill by other players. My friend became dead while he was just laying on the ground.

it happened to me while on a ladder.
maybe it's tied to the rubber banding bug issue, like, the engine doesn't understand your vertical position but 'fixing' that instantly kills you.
