Description

Hi, everytime i launch this new stable branche 0.45.124426 of DayZ, my game doesn't recognize my (100%) resolution which should be 1920*1080 at 16/9.
I see on steam forums that i'm not the only one, ex:
http://steamcommunity.com/app/221100/discussions/0/540744934298739989/

Nothing seems to help retrieving my native resolution.
I'm on w8.1 64bits, gpu is Nvidia GTX780 Lightning, cpu i7 4770k, with 16gb ram mobo z78 g45 gaming and Day-z's installed on an SSD.

Seriously, hotfix this cause this at 600*400 4/3 i'm killing my freaking eyes to even see the menu.

You have to change the resolution in the User Interface settings.

It keeps getting me 600-400 every restart, and while changing server, it changes from 16/9 to 4/3 ... so i think this is an issue, not my fault.. i obviously tried this and lots of things in order to repair it. That's why i'm reporting in. Because it is. An issue.

Open dayz.cfg file and type your real resolution in there like ;

change older one like that... delete 640 and 480 and type your resolution...
Resolution_W=1920;
Resolution_H=1080;

then open the game and change your resolution to 1920X1080 and change interface size to normal and change aspect ratio then you'll solve your problem...

Hello TheKisstro,

Sorry to hear about your trouble. To begin with, please try the following:

  1. Start DayZ and enter the Main Menu.
  2. Click the button labeled "Configure".
  3. Click the button labeled "Video".
  4. Click the button labeled "User Interface".
  5. Select a high resolution from the dropdown menu.
  6. Select a proper aspect ratio.

After performing these steps, you should be able to select and save the proper ingame resolution and aspect ratio. Please let us know if you still experience the issue after performing the steps above.

JStewart
