This problem has been around for a few builds now, but the exact cause is hard to pinpoint. usually for me happens after an item is consumed or whatever leaving a blank slot in clothing or bag to fill, but then any item cannot be placed back to this slot until the item bugged is dropped to the ground then picked back up, which 100% for me so far has fixed it

Steps To Reproduce
seems random to a degree, but
- consume a one use item
- try picking up something in the same slot
- repeat until eventually item slot is bugged
- drop bugged item holder
5)pick back up and try to fill bugged slot again
