Now, whenever I join a server I can a pale blue screen with some modulation that moves due to the scenery that should be there. A consistent remedy is to go to Menu, Configure and then hit the Video button. On hitting the button the scenery jumps into view and all is OK from then on. No video settings need changing, just hit the Video button.
