Battle Eye Global Ban after attempting to log into an experimental server
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

To whom it may concern,

I realize this is probably not on a high list of things to get to but I would like to report an issue I have.

Let me preface this by saying that I do not cheat, nor have I attempted to cheat. As a matter of fact when I encounter a glitched or hacked item, I tend to throw it away in an area that it will not be found again.

That said, I received a Battleye Global Ban, id# 5619b5, for some unknown reason. The only thing I can think is that I attempted to log on to the experimental servers early this morning, prior to this I was playing fine, happily running around with a 22 rifle with no clip. When attempt to log in this afternoon however, I'm presented with a Global battleye ban.

I understand, through the automated email message that Battleye was so kind to send, that they can not remove a ban for a client who uses steam. This is very disheartening to me. I don't make much money, to my dismay you'd think that a veteran could get a decent job but no. Anyway, I digress, I put hard earned money into this game and love what it is and where it's going but I can't play now.

I realize there may be nothing you can do but what I am asking is for you to try. I apologize for taking your time and I greatly appreciate your assistance. If there is anything I can do to assist in this matter, I'd be happy to help.

Thank you

Hello Pierce,

I'm truly sorry to hear about your trouble. However, BattlEye bans need to be disputed with BattlEye. Please contact them directly and request for them to investigate the issue by using the following email address:

[email protected]

Alternatively you can visit their website at:

http://www.battleye.com/support.html

Please note that if you have been banned on ARMA 3 for example then your ban will carry over to DayZ.

Thanks,

JStewart
