Upon playing with a friend it happened more often than once , that one of us was forced to leave the server in an unsafe location because the game crashed or was kicked due to connection issues. During 2 of those times a zombie appeared shortly after and killed the remaining avatar of the now disconnected player in one hit (both times the now dead player was equipped with protective gear) before the other could kill the zombie. I don't know if this it intentional or not, but i feel that in a stage where involuntary disconnections are not uncommon, this should not happen (at least not in one hit). i understand, that the avatar should remain a short time to counter combat-logging, but i think that it might be better is the left-behind avatar had the same stats the player had. eventually the time the avatar remains after logout could be lengthened so that, if you log out in an unsafe area you can still be killed by a zombie, but if in a group the remaining group members should have a fair chance to save their companion.
