I had this idea under another post, so why not be able to have quiver with bolts on your back instead of melee weapons. It would increase badassness and arrow reload speed.

Another thing are some improvised quivers made of leather and rope Like this. It would be easier to use bows and they would be more common - Craft bow, craft quiver and go hunting.
