For the last 2 weeks I have not been able to play the game because whenever I try to enter a server (and I have tried lots of different ones) the game freezes and I just receive a buzzing sound. The only option then is to turn my computer off and on again.
Initially I got about 5 hours of game play before the issue started.
I've tried a completely fresh install of the stand alone and multiple other suggestions such as deleting the batteye file.
I'm not sure if it's related but my copy of Arma2 Operation Arrowhead also had this issue before the standalone came out. Both the standalone and my copy of Arma2 are from Steam.
The crash was also happening prior to the 0.44.123800 version. {F30974}
