since the last update to version 0.44.123800 I have a massive graphics issue with the sun. When I look towards the sun, the sun blinds me through each object. Whether mountain, hill, forest, trees or houses. The sun glare shines through each object, when I look towards the sun. When it rains, the effect is not quite as intense.

If I go into the settings, the effect turns off when changing the HDR settings (low / very low). However, I leave the menu and go back into the game, the effect is immediately returned.
