Title says it all, changing master volume levels causes me to hear either a Zed Groaning followed by a gunshot, or a bone breaking sound effect. Reproduce able, running lastest stable update as of 25/04/2014 AEST

Change master volume level in in-game options
sound effect will play either as soon as level is changed, or when menu is exited.

Then could it at least be changed to a more suitable sound (even the windows bloop noise would do) rather than something as it is now?

I feel like whoever put those sounds in place was trolling. First time I thought someone shot me and broke my leg lol.
