When you are holding something (e.g. a weapon) and attempt to eat some food, you have a moment where the item in your hand remains in place. If you hit the "X" to remove the item from your hand before your character removes it as part of the eating process, your item will be removed yet you will not eat. Attempting to eat or place another object in your hand fails with the message "You are already using something"
