i cant replicate this, this could be to do with a lot more hardware side, than neccasarily dayz specifics, or else i could reproduce everytime, yet havent had it happen once.

Please try to reproduce this issue on the latest experimental build.

When reporting a crash you need to upload a dxdiag report and the files from
C:/Users/<Name>/AppData/Local/DayZ/

Pack the files into a .rar file - if the RAR is smaller than 5000KB, you can attach it here. If it's larger, please upload it to a file sharing website and link it here.

ok so went into experimental server de 0-3 again to test this, cannot reproduce it no matter how i try (double tap w then hold while spamming P, run forward holding shift and spamming P) so i think this is not relevant to dayz, maybe to the OP's hardware

Edit, after reading the steps to reproduce i think the problem is related to the NumPad on setting and having rebound keys. i would hedge all my bets on this being the cause.

I have changed my keybindings to [W]Forward and [D]Turbo and the game does not freeze while pressing P. Using NumKeys seems to be the problem. Please try to reproduce it on your machine using numpad just to be sure if it's universal or not.

Possibly related to #8665

That issue also reported a crash when using the right arrow in the player list although the reporter never updated with the crash files.

I will try to reporduce it with RArrow and will post the result.

EDIT:

Holding Right Arrow and then P causes the game to crash. Numeric is innocent.
