Description

So basically, whenever I join a server it gives me the error 'Session lost' after about 3 minutes. I basically can't play.

I've done some more research:

  • You can join server without problems.
  • You are able to run around! Other player can see what you are doing (running around, shooting, open doors, etc.)!
  • You can not see your actions with the World (If you try to open a door it does not happen for you but others)
  • If you rejoin the server you are able to see the Door is open now!
  • Same behaviour with Items: If you drag an Item into your Inventory and relog (damn 300 secs!) it is in you inventory.

My conclusion:
I am able to SEND packets to the server but my game will not receive any!

Update:
I noticed that HardcoreHive Servers (where my Character is resetted) are working completely fine. So I guess it's an Problem with the Public Hive?

Hope you find a way to reproduce this bug.

Tell me what you need!
I can give you any Logs/Informations if you tell me what you need.
I have Wireshark an can provide packet logs, if you need them.

Found the solution!
I Tested it, it actually worked for me.

Steps I've done:

  • Log in
  • Drop all Protector Cases (had 3x Medipacks and 1x Ammobox left in my Inventory)
  • Log out
  • Log in into ANOTHER Server
  • wait 300seconds
  • Bug is gone.

Update:
I noticed that Hardcore Hive Servers (where my Character is resetted) are working completely fine. So I guess it's an Problem with the Public Hive?

I do not understand the solution, we must find 5 containers for repair?

I have ~ 10 Containers in my Inventory.
One stacked into another.

You have to DROP ALL PROTECTORCASES to fix the issue,
Not tested yet I'm not home but for the others it worked.

Problem determined to be caused by carrying protector cases. Closing as duplicate of #8977
