Helmets or berets that spawn on top of the lockers can't be picked up within vicinity. Ammo can be picked up but not clothing. scrolling on 3rd and 1st person will not work too.

Enter barracks and look for clothings on top of blue locker.

The trick is:
If you have the same clothes (helm, shirt, pants...) equiped on you and you would like to have the new one on the cabinets etc, you have to drop your shirt etc first and then press the middle mouse buttom

Btw there shouldn't be any trick, couse if you have to trick, then it isnot work well.
Sometimes i have problem with ammo too with those lockers.
