I didn't realize that the coat I had looted off of some person was ruined so I had dragged it onto my character. It had shown on the inventory character model on the floor by her feet the coat (like you would see it if it were on the floor or a shelf.) and had turned the middle part of her body invisible. This has also happened to some gloves I found that I didn't realize were ruined. My hands were gone..
