In the past few hours of playtime I have broken my legs twice by falling down from heights that are about the height of a person. 1 fall was from the bottom level of the staircase in the barn. I was about 75% up the first staircase. These are falls that happened all the time due to DayZ's wonky controls, especially first person controls.

Something has changed. It used to be that you could fall 5 meters and have nothing happen to you.

Perhaps this has something to do with this from the patch notes "Medical: Falling from height while sprinting did not kill player when it should have"

It is annoying and didn't use to be like this.
