I drink a cola, with the intention of not having it in my inventory. Cola somehow ends up in my inventory, taking up a slot, but the slot looks empty. I'm unable to empty the slot, or move the cola, or exchange an item into that slot, even though the slot looks empty. Does not resolve until I log out, and back in. Then, the empty cola can shows up in my inventory where the previous slot was inaccessible, and I'm able to throw it away. Happens every time I log in and drink a cola.

Steps To Reproduce
Have only a few empty slots in your inventory. Drink the cola without previously picking it up. Pick gun back up. It will look gone, but now there's a "fantom cola" taking up a slot. When you log out and back on, will see the empty can in the slot.
