Mosin vs M4 - width distance
New, WishlistPublic

Description

Hey Support,
i asked me why most player use the M4.
The answer is easy: The Mosin has no superiority on distance.
For example if you are on the airfield and would like to shot transversely across the runway the mosin has a swerve to the left. The M4 is accurate. At that for max differences of 600m (M4) and 800m (Mosin).
But if i use a sniper weapon, why i have a heavy swerve to the left and not a large wheel-weir like M4 with more accurat????
And most distance are only 600m. Hit with M4 but not with Mosin + long scope :S. That should be the other way!!!!

The long range scope is slightly offset to the right, meaning that shots will fall to the left of the crosshair.

This is being fixed in the next patch.

Yes, fixed in experimental build 0.37:

Weapons: Long-range scope reticle properly centered

Thats sounds good.
But a M4 with an accurate up to 400-600m it too good for those weapons. Here is missing the incentive to use a non-spray-weapons like mosin.
I shot with the G36 in the army and the accuracy was only given up to 150m. Then you have to use skill to hit.
