1. I equipped the "weapon flashlight" to my hand without having it attached to a weapon.
2. I turned the "weapon flashlight" on. The flashlight pointed down and left, in the way that the flashlight would put if a right-handed person were holding a gun onto which it was attached.
3. I equipped my regular flashlight and the flashlight is still pointing down left.

I have since died and lost my weapon flashlight. I am unable to do further testing but I believe that the equipping of the weapon flashlight has modified the beam spot of my regular flashlight. My regular flashlight has become worthless, does not light in front of me and cannot be directed by zooming (which I suspect can be done with a weapon-mounted weapon flashlight).
