Alcohol tincture allows a player to clean another players wounds. If you select this option, the game makes the person who is applying the tincture sick.
This is most likely related to a previous bug, that has since been patched.
The previous bug made a player sick whenever he/she cleaned his/her wounds.
Have alcohol tincture. Go up to another player. Clean his or her wounds. The applicant becomes sick even though he/she didn't receive any wound cleaning.
The player who gets their wounds cleaned does not become sick. That part of the wound cleaning process is functioning correctly.
