I have one main character that I use to play and whenever I want to change servers to play with my friends or other reasons, I will spawn with a new character wit hough any of my gear.this has happened with 5 different servers and only 1 server was successfully at taking my character across the server.

Have you confirmed that your character resides on the same hive as the servers you were unable to join with that character?

Also ensure that you are always playing on the same hive - you have a unique character on Regular, Hardcore and Experimental.
