When I reach the gate the game freezes and after about 30 seconds crashes to desktop. As soon as the gate is about 10 feet in front of my character it freezes. I'm on the experimental hardcore server. When I log back in my character is a few hundred meters away in a random direction. I replicated this 3 times.
