DayZ Stuttering Problem
New, WishlistPublic

Description

I have a solid 60 fps whilst running open fields, sometimes more, very smooth, high settings. Then all of a sudden the game stutters and drops to 40fps and works it's way back up again to 60fps and all is normal. This process then repeats every 2--30 seconds.

This is quite annoying as I have never been able to work out what causes this problem. I have tried ramdisk, closing all memory intensive programs in the background. I have tried to dial my settings all the way down to low and I still have this issue.

I do use fraps to check the framerate, however, it is not recording.

This problem has always been there on the Mod, Arma 3 and now Dayz.

Update This issue does not appear to reproduce in the current experimental version 0.37.115791.**

I'm also exhibiting the exact same thing. I'm noticing it to come and go. If standing in one place I don't drop my FPS. When running it will stutter from 62+ FPS to as low as 7FPS every few seconds.
