Character wiped out when joining a different server

Description

Connected to different server because other one went down and got message: "Unable to load character. Character has been reset. Try reconnecting" - or something along those lines. My character got wiped out completely and reset. Is there any way I can get it back?

Same thing just happened to me, completely wiped.

Hello oakmage,

Thank you for sending us your feedback regarding this issue. Unfortunately, this problem is a known issue that has previously been reported. The devs are aware of the problem related to character save loss and they're working on fixing it.
