It only happens when I die. I can't play because of this.
Event Timeline
I am having the same exact issue. I cannot play. I've restarted the game, re-spawned multiple times, even tried adjusting my graphic card properties to use application settings instead of overwriting them.
If I hit escape, to see the menu, there are not graphic card glitches and I can see fields or buildings just fine.
This happen after I died from a glitch of falling through the floor to my death in the middle of a room while trying to pick up a hunters backpack.
Having the same issue since I died yesterday evening.
I join a server, if it's a villayer (gsp on which I died) I get stuck on "please wait" or eventually get the "you are unconscious".
Until yesterday, I could fix that by joining a different server from a different gsp and I would spawn just fine and was able to rejoin the server I died on.
But since yesterday, when I join a different server, it tells me that my character was unable to be loaded from the hive and I should reconnect.
I do so, get a fresh spawn, and as soon as the server restarts or I try to rejoin the original / try another one, I go through the same process as mentioned above and end up with another fresh spawn eventually.
Trying to re-install the game now, if that doesn't work, I'm unable to play.
Confirmed. Same issue here. The respawn issue seems to be very widespread, despite their claims to fixing the problem two patches ago.
I've almost lost the initiative to play the game because of this. With all the cheaters in the game and this massive gamebreaking bug, there is no way we can honestly play and enjoy the game.
