When taking out a weapon via the quick acces keys (1-9) and then switching imeadely to another weapon the character does the following:
Take weapon 1 out
Put weapon 1 back
Take weapon 2 out
Put weapon 2 back

Steps To Reproduce
Take an weapon out. While the character is still performing the take out animation switch to another weapon. After all animations are completed the character will stand there without any weapon in hand.
