You are able to close your own issues,

Just above the Relationships heading, click the Close button. Choose an appropriate option from the drop down list (in this case, duplicate) and finally hit the button on that page to close it.

I am un aware of how to close the issue i think that a moderator has to do it these were my first issues that i cam across so just blindly reported them was un aware that you could search issues and vote them up until recently

Make sure to search before opening new issues.
