I have two canteens in my inventory. When filling up at a well I select the canteen in my hotbar fill my first canteen up, but no matter whether I put my second canteen in a different hot bar slot or even switch the canteen I have that is empty into the hotbar it always selects the first canteen.

My assumption is it is selecting the item that is highest in the inventory first always. It would be nice if the hotbar looked t the specific item as unique so it hot barred only to that item.
