I think they should. People need to value their lives a little more. Of course, this shouldn't be the only method of doing that. But I always thought it was fun to know and I did pay attention to it.

The developers can implement this feature, that 3 hours of gameplay would be 1 real day in the dayz world, I like the idea

think App0815 needs a chill pill. I think it would be good to add something like this to the inventory screen. Even a statistics based on your current equipment and health giving an estimated survival rate. e.g.
Days Survived: 1 day
Chance of survival: 10%

This would give the player a chance to beat the odds if you will.
