Painting a mosin green cause it to disappear from the inventory and teleports the mosin somewhere else on the map. Probably close to you. I was in a house , i painted the mosin green and it got teleported outside of the house. I had to loot the mosin again

This happened to me twice but I was able to find it. Until it's fixed, make sure you do it in an open area. The Mosin does drop out of your inventory, but it is set on the ground somewhere in a 10-15 foot radius
