there is no 'L' keybind... :P

i can confirm that my hotkey will not toggle the light, however it does work when i right click it in the inventory screen. real pain in the ass when im trying to remain undetected and only want to flash the light fast and low to see whats around.

maybe it was on and you just couldn't tell because you're wearing sunglasses on a night server.

It did have a 9V equipped (you would have noticed this if you looked at the attached image and the 'Detach 9V Battery' option). But thanks for the input.

you need 9v battery in flashlight... works fine for me

mine works fine, though the hot key does not work. kind of a bummer, but hey. alpha.

After getting another pistol flashlight on a new character, I can report that it worked as of tonight. Note I did not turn it on using the 'L' keybind but by using the right-click menu option on the item itself.

I also have a pistol flashlight that doesn't seem to work.

ive had this issue with flashlights that i acquired on 24/7 day servers when i tried to use them on night servers.

I have this as well now. Flashlight and battery both badly damaged, but when testing the battery, it says there's enough power in. I cant turn on the flashlight though on nightserver ( server time 02.30 am )
