I mostly use the "F" key to open doors or perform other actions on objects but find that opening doors does not work very often at all. Most of the time, i have to attempt to open them 5-6 times before the door will actually open. I dont think it is a server lag issue as I play on low ping servers and have a good connection.

Steps To Reproduce
Walk up to a door in a house or outside of a house that has a handle on it.
Select "Open Door" from the action menu.
Press the "F" key on the keyboard.
Additional Information
My mouse middle button seems to display the middle finger more than actually perform the action i have selected. I guess that is a different issue though.
UPDATE(1-28-14): The doors now work 100% of the time after the latest patch!
