*EDIT DOWN BELOW : I got my char back*
It happened to me 3 times. I had plenty of gear and then when I log to another server I get re-spawned , losing all my gear.
It's kind of annoying.

- Switch servers many times
- You might get re-spawned and lose all your gear.

I'm no developer but could it be from a Server Desync ?
EDIT : I just got my character back. When I spawned at the coast I kinda rage-quitted and pressed Alt+F4 which instantly shuts down the game. I then started the game again and logged in one of the servers I was playing on previously (where I had the gear). I got my character back , in the same place I had it when full gear.
I guess you just have to be really fast and Alt+F4 , then log in one of the servers you played previously
