I was in a bed and breakfast building, and I had a weapon flashlight in my hands. I had retreated onto the stairwell in the back of the building, and was hiding there while sorting through and organizing my inventory. After creating room, I moved the weapon flashlight from my hands to an inventory slot, and immediately after completing the action, I dropped from the stairs and into the restaurant portion of the building.

Steps To Reproduce
- Have item (weapon flashlight, in this case) in hands
- Go to top of stairs in bed and breakfast building
- Open inventory
- Click on X on the "Hands" part of inventory
Additional Information
I've been too scared to try and recreate this particular bug, as I didn't want to phase through the whole map and lose my character to the grey oblivion below. If I happen to die and create a new one, it will be the first thing I test out. It could be that all stairs have these problems, or it could just be a freak incident; I'd like to find out.
