I think that it would be great if you added in a hip holster for pistols, but they would have to be a bit rarer than the chest holsters of course because instead of them taking the place of a vest or something of the sort, they would be an addition to your gear, I know it's not really a big deal, but it would be cool to have in the game.

The same goes for knives : there should be a sheath available for hunting/combat knives.
As for the pistols : no Policeman would carry his service pistol in his pockets :)
So there should be gun holsters for hip carry.
