Character is always, regardless of changing servers, replaced with a fresh character, every time. Have played for 4+ hours so far, and have not once been able to continue with an existing character. Even if the character I was playing as last is shown to the right of the menu on the title screen, when I click 'Play' the character is overwritten with a fresh one.

-Current character is replaced with new character
Additional Information
I've seen a handful of "Character not saved" posts stating character is lost after changing servers, and still missing when changing back. However, even if I don't change servers and simply press 'Play' my character is lost.
