My friends and I are unable to shoot through grass, we were taking target practice on zombies across a valley while laying down, and there was no bullet hit animation near the zombie, and a ricochet noise near us. I put sometimes because we have only fired from one location and had this incident, but will test more and update appropriately.

Lay in grass, acquire target, shoot. Kneel, acquire same target and shoot again.

Needs more occurrences to make sure it wasn't just a random sound/animation glitch.

In day z mod this was a common issue, pine trees and grass often stpped bullets completely and ppl used them as shields.
